By utilizing the smart card (SC) technology available today, the Smart Hajj project aims to enhance the quality of services provided annually in Hajj. This project, involves the design and development of a SC-based system, where SC will be manily used to store and manipulate pilgrim’s info. Consequently, SC would help to speed up the services provided to pilgrims and avoids difficulties occurs during Hajj season. Unlike paper documents, pilgrim’s info stored in SC becomes more available at any point in time and hard to forge or illegally manipulated.
