Predictive Situation Aware Architectural Model for Decision Making in C4I Systems
Title: Predictive Situation Aware Architectural Model for Decision Making in C4I Systems
Speaker: Ms. Ahlam Al-khaibari
Abstract:.
There is increasing demand for interoperability between individual software systems. Developing interoperability between software and information systems is difficult, and becoming challenge. In C4I (command, control, communication, computers and intelligence) System, Easy access and availability of a wide range of situation awareness data is the basis for goal directed decision-making and effective communication. The more data and information that is generated and available, the harder it is to find relevant information. Modern decision making scenarios are characterized by large amounts of data and information that arrive dynamically, over a short period of time, from multiple sources. Processing this data in a time-critical manner to make accurate decisions is a complex task for human decision makers. In this Research, by leveraging the idea of “Hierarchical Decision Making” we aim to provide a Predictive situation architecture model addressing the major challenges for making an effective predictive situation awareness system to support decision making operations. So that, human decision makers can make more strategically informed and well-aligned decisions towards the desired outcome of decision events.
