Emotional Intelligence Screening
Emotional Intelligence Screening: Detecting Emotional Arousal in Non-Communicative Individuals
Abstract: Recognizing emotional states and understanding other people's emotions is a key problem for people with Autism, with difficulties being experienced with both their own emotions and in recognizing emotions of others. In this talk, we present our Emotional Intelligence Screener (EIS) which combines measures of ElectroDermal Activity (EDA), Temperature and Eye gaze metrics of pupil dilation to detect the changes in emotional states in individuals which reflect normal and abnormal emotional response to stimuli.
