Effects of Recording Factors On The Emotional State of a Person in EEG Based Authentication System

Abstract: This paper examines the validitity of using EEG signals as a biometric authentication feature by investigating whether the emotional state of a person affects the value and power of the produced brain signals. The experiment involved investigations of participants's abilities in conducting a mental task before and after an emotional control state was acquired. This project was conduct as requierement for IT499 - Research Seminar course.
